Mystery Shopping Compaines

I received an email from someone who had been scammed by a company named Corporate Evaluation consultants - corpevaluation.com. After further investigation, there have been others who have been scammed by this company. This company advertises themselves as a mystery shopping company and claims to pay you to ‘mystery shop.’

This is what this company does- They will mail you a check and tell you to cash it at your bank. They tell you to take the money to a money gram store and wire the money to a ‘fake relative’ in Ontario, Canada, and then the mystery shopper will be able to keep a portion of the money. Turns out that these cashiers checks are completely bogus and the company is a complete scam.

If you come across this company or any other company, make sure to do your research before you get involved with them! Some mystery shopping jobs are scams, and you need to investigate further before you spend your money.
